At LeapLink, we take data security and privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how our application handles information when you use our services within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
1. Data Ownership and Processing
Bex Push Record is a data transmission utility. We do not own, sell, or harvest your business data. * Your Data: All records, fields, and company information pushed via the app remain within your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem.
Our Role: We act as a Data Processor. We facilitate the movement of data between companies and environments as directed by the user.
2. Information We Collect
To provide and maintain the service, we may collect minimal technical information:
Authentication Data: We utilize Microsoft’s standard OAuth and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) protocols for authentication. We do not store your passwords.
Usage Logs: For troubleshooting and performance monitoring, we may log metadata such as environment IDs, company names, and success/failure statuses of data “pushes.”
License Information: To verify your subscription, we collect your Business Central Tenant ID and specific license details.
3. How Data is Transferred
In-Transit Encryption: All data pushed between Business Central environments is encrypted using Industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security).
Point-to-Point: Data moves directly between your specified source and destination. We do not store a copy of your business records on our own servers during this transfer.
4. Third-Party Services
Bex Push Record operates within the Microsoft Azure cloud. As such, your data is subject to Microsoft’s Privacy and Security standards. We do not share your data with any third-party marketing or analytics firms.
5. Developer Hooks & Exposed Procedures
If you utilize our exposed AL procedures to automate data pushes, it is the responsibility of your organization to ensure that these custom processes comply with your internal data governance policies. Bex Push Record is not responsible for data moved via automated custom code written by third-party developers.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:
Access the minimal metadata we store regarding your license.
Request the deletion of your account/subscription data.
Restrict processing by uninstalling the application from your environment.
7. Data Retention
We retain license and metadata information only as long as your subscription is active. System logs used for troubleshooting are typically purged after 90 days.
